Clarissa Gerhauser Malta Polyphenols 2019

Dr. Clarissa Gerhäuser from German Cancer Research Center, Germany will join the Malta Polyphenols 2019 congress and give a talk during a special session dedicated to Polyphenols and Microbiota.

Dr. Gerhäuser will present a talk entitled "Dietary agents - and their microbial metabolites - as epigenetic modulators in human health & disease".

Dr. Gerhäuser's main research interest is the investigation of epigenetic alterations associated with breast and prostate cancer. A recent focus is on the “Metabolic Syndrome” and the possibility to prevent or modulate epigenetic deregulation by dietary intervention.
