Early-life combinatorial polyphenol-based prevention of estrogen receptor-negative breast cancer

Prof. Trygve Tollefsbol, University of Alabama at Birmingham, USA will join the Polyphenols Applications 2021 Congress which will be held on September 22-24, 2021 and will give a presentation entitled "Early-life combinatorial polyphenol-based prevention of estrogen receptor-negative breast cancer".

Prof. Tollefsbol's main focus will be on how to minimize the risk of  estrogen receptor-negative breast cancer.In fact, therapeutic efforts to control estrogen receptor-negative breast cancer have been disappointing for decades and novel approaches to prevent this too often fatal disease are of high priority. Field-driving important new directions using polyphenols in combination with other pytochemicals are now essential. Prof. Tollefsbol and his team have developed efficacious and safe early-life synergistic dietary approaches based on epigenetic mechanisms to enhance prevention or to slow progression of estrogen receptor-negative breast cancer.
